DO NOT FILL OUT THE QUOTE FORM UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR INFORMATION DISPERSED TO SEVERAL DISTRIBUTORS WHO WILL CALL INSTANTLY AND FREQUENTLY.
I filled out the “Get a Free Quote” form on CarShippingCarriers.com, under the impression this ONE company would contact me. I tried to not input my phone number, and it wouldn217;t let me. So I entered it. Within literally seconds of clicking submit, I had numerous calls and emails for several OTHER companies. This is beyond irritating. 15 minutes later and I have 11 calls, 6 voicemails, and 10 emails from several different car shipping companies – some have already called me multiple times. Had I know Car Shipping Carries was just going to spit out my information to a ton of different companies, I wouldn’t have filled out this form. Who wants to be bombarded by that many forms of communication?
I tried to post this review on transportreviews.com but the company removed it because I’m not a ‘true customer.’ I don’t know how a company that only disperses your number out to tons of other companies to contact you gets ‘true customers.’
And, since posting my original review, I have received 4 more emails, 5 more calls, and 4 more voicemails. I wish I could make this stop.
We sold our car in Cape Cod to a friend in Texas. I think its enough to say it is now 5
weeks later and still no success. We were told if we moved the car to an open location in Boston it would be easier to find someone to pick it up. We did so last week and still the company will not answer our calls. Awful service…called another and they are not much better.
Very unreliable company. I shipped my car from Miami to San Diego. I was told my car would be in San Diego Friday night. I called company on Friday to confirm whereabouts of my car. Could not get ahold of anyone for 24 hours. When someone finally called back on saturday they said the truck was broken down in Texas and my car wouldn’t arrive until Monday or Tuesday. No courtesy call to let me know this. I called on monday and company cannot even locate my car at this time. I still don’t have my car and don’t even know where it is! The man I spoke to is not even apologetic and does not see anything wrong with the lack of communication.
This company is not reliable at all. I never write reviews but I had to write one for UCI because I’m extremely disappointed. I booked my service with Roger, I was told my car would be picked up on Sunday, the 18th and it’d take about a week to transport my car from Los Angeles to Miami. NONE of this was true.
On the 18th nobody gave me a call, I called the driver’s info Roger provided but they were closed on Sunday so no one picked up. I was freaking out because my flight was the next day so my car had to be picked up. I called Roger a few times and left a frantic message, but of course, no return calls from him. I called the driver many more times finally somebody picked up the phone, and I was told that my car wasn’t going to be picked up, the pickup date he had was actually the 20th… WHAT THE HELL.
I told him the car needed to be picked up that day so he sent a guy last minute to pick up the car. I called back 4 days later to check the status of the car and I was told that the car won’t get to Miami until the end of the month. That’s two full weeks of delivery time, not the one week I was told. I called Roger and told him my disappointment but of course there was nothing he could do. WORST SERVICE EVER.
Horrible service,, made arrangements to ship car 2 1/2 weeks before needing car shipped cross country..As time neared I called him numerous times to see whats going on with shipping of car and he never answered the phone and wouldnt return my calls…Go elsewhere he doesnt care..
