DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! My experience with them was the worst ever. ive transported three times before this one, and these people were by FAR the worse experience. as a consumer, I entrusted the person on the other end of the phone to do what he agreed to do which was honor the cost of $850.00 to ship my car from pensylvania to california. Once my deposit was in his hands (sergio), I then had $650.00 to pay upon the delivery of my car. It became an bidding game after that. He involved me in getting quotes for $1100, and $1000 to pay any driver to deliver my car… this is ON TOP of my $200.00 deposit. As a customer, I wasnt supposed to be involved in that process, but to completely go around the price of what we originally agreed upon was what upset me most.
After this, I did read the legal page on the site (I didnt at first) that mentioned them not having control over prices going up during the transaction (although worded differently). Still, it also mentioned that after ten days, if the car is still sitting, the consumer is entitled to 50% of the deposit back… $100.00 back to me, right? Well, this did happen, and they DID not validate that to me.
My mistake was dealing with them when sergio seemed suspect from the beginning. He wasnt professional, and he WILL NOT keep you informed on what transactions are going on with your car as a consumer should be. Dont believe me?… Call him and listen to him talk. he doesnt have a clear layout on what will go on with the financial transaction to take place. I knew this, and thought it was just the way todays sales persons are, but i knew better then, and did not act on it.
In short, im losing $250.00 from a transaction thats costing me $1150.00 (paying $900.00 for the delivery of my car). I could have originally paid less with a more reputable company that was local. I typically dont go away based on oppinions from others, which is why I say give him a call and listen to him talk. Its the sign you can base your own decision from. “My pain, your gain folks”.
Don’t do it, this company is a scam they were great till they got my deposit then they have been ignoring my phone calls, missed the deadline, and never returning my voicemails , but yet when I call from a different number they pick up and quickly scurry off the phone, it is a slimmy company that offer awesome quotes to rope you in and rob you!!!!
My car was safely shipped from New York to Houston without a problem. Serge also replied quickly whenever I needed an update or confirmation of time or arrival. I don’t ship often, but I had a overall good experience. And yes the deposit is needed before. I would think it is the same anywhere. I am not sure.
