I contracted AutoGo to move a 2012 Honda Accord from Chicago to Seattle. I had received a quote for them a few weeks before my move, but forgot to finalize the booking; thankfully, AutoGo was able to preserve my price of $1315 for the move, despite my last-minute order.
Their pickup schedule was somewhat delayed; they give a pickup range, then have the truck driver call 24 hours in advance to set a firm time to get the car in question. For me, this meant a week’s delay while the driver finished other pickups in nearby states. My car was finally picked up exactly seven days after the initial estimated pickup date. The truck driver had a very thick accent and was difficult to understand on the phone, but he got as close to the pickup location as his truck size would allow.
Perhaps to compensate for the delayed pickup, AutoGo got my car out to Seattle within 10 days of its being picked up (for a two- to three-week transit time estimate). They couldn’t – or weren’t willing to – get as close to my destination as I’d have liked, so I wound up taking an extended bus trip to their preferred garage rather than have the car brought more conveniently close to me.
On delivery, the car was in excellent condition; I found no new scratches, dings, or other damage on its exterior. In addition, AutoGo let me pack about 150-200lbs worth of extra stuff in the trunk and back seat, so as to avoid paying a separate moving company extra; all that material was untouched as well.
Overall, AutoGo did well on the actual transport of the car, but lacked a bit in timing, scheduling, and communication. I would recommend AutoGo for people who are both shipping a car long-distance and are willing to wait a few weeks for it to get there.
My husband and I were incredibly disappointed in our experience with his company. Overall, I would say this company does not put the client first and is untrustworthy.
This was our first time ever using a moving company, so any “normal procedures” were unknown to us. Therefore, we accepted whatever was being told to us. To start, they could not commit to a specific moving date from the beginning, which made our timeline for moving across country left at their mercy. After giving us a window of 3 days in which they would arrive, they ended up calling the day before they were to arrive stating they were uncertain when they could be there because the van had “broken down.” Do they only have ONE van?? We needed to get to our destination due to new job commitments, so we had to leave all of our belongings behind and put our friend in charge of everything in our absence. What an inconvenience for her because they changed their arrival time twice during their communications with her.
When they finally arrived, we discovered that the movers had stolen 4 of our dvds. Perhaps they thought that we wouldn’t notice because we have a substantial collection. However, they made several mistakes…. #1 they taped up the box with tan colored tape, when ALL of our boxes were packed by us in clear tape #2 they put a dvd in the box that we had never owned and #3 my husband keeps an excel spreadsheet listing all of our dvd titles, so he cross-referenced what we received with that list.
This company has relocated their home office to Houston, TX. So Beware!!

Hired them to transport a car from DE to CA. They promised prompt pickup and delivery, but 30 days later still waiting for action. At one point I offered them additional money and they actually re-rote my contract and added money to their initial quote, but this did not help. Not one time they called with updates, I had to call and check with them every single time. They are brokers who pocket a commission of your fees and sit behind a desk calling actual transport companies to do the work.
After 5 weeks of waiting they agreed to refund my deposit and went with Golden Key Express (goldenkeyexpress.com/aut…) which delivered the car in 10 days.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THEM. The delay costing me beaucoups money.
